The
National Base for Cultivating people of life science and technology
of NEFU(above the base of life science for short)is approved collectively
to be founded by State Development Planning Commission and China Ministry
of Education.It is the important base for cultivating advanced specialized
people with the modern life science and technology engaged in research,development,
management and industrialization in the field of ecology construction,environment
preservation,and forest biology£®The base of life science is based on the two post-doctor workstation of biology and forestry,six national key subjects of botany and ecology and so on,mime doctorial subjects and 12 master subjects of NEFU;it possesses the key lab of forest plant ecology of Ministry of Education,and 4 key labs of state forestry bureau,it also includes three teaching and R&D bases holding 3.3 millions hectares of Maoershan state forest park,Liangshui Natural Reserve,forest industry demonstration base of Harbin city.The faculty is composed of academicians,advisors to doctor candidates,professors,post-doctors,doctors who are well organized and energized.
Here the excellent teachers employed from home and abroad are responsible for the teaching,first class tutorials are applied with the bilingual teaching,multi-media teaching and advanced didactical method.It implements the tutor system employing the famous and full-knowledge teacher with doctor degree or having the title of professor as the advisor to instruct the learning of students,to cultivate innovation ability and to improve comprehensive capability.
