people of basic science research and teaching (biology major)in NEFU(above
Base of biology for short).It recruits the students in 1997,average 30 students
are enrolled pert year.Here it applies the tutor system,credit system,4-7
years flexible schooling,rolling dismiss,straight graduation system,and
the excellent students can be selected to study abroad.The base of biology was built on the two post-doctor workstation of biology and forestry,six national key subjects of botany and ecology and so on,nine doctorial subjects and 12 master subjects of NEFU;it possesses the key lab of forest plant ecology of Ministry of Education,4 key labs of state forestry bureau.
The idea of education innovation practiced here aims at educating high capacity,high quality,high level people and the world first class life science and technology.It carries ort the reform of teaching to fully advanced education ability assuring to cultivate the innovation,creative ability and comprehensive capability,to enhance the quality of educating students.The faculty is composed of academicians,advisors of doctor, professor, post-doctor,doctor which are well organized and energized.It also includes three teaching and R&D bases holding 3.3 millions hectares of Maoershan national forest park, Liangshui natural reserves Harbin forest demonstration base. First class tutorials are applied with the bilingual teaching, multi-media teaching and advanced didactical method.

class national Base of Cultivating people of life science and technology
integrating the people internationalizing,R & D industrializing,scientific
management, modern establishment with the function of teaching,R & Dand
industrialization.
